Which service do you need?
No photos required - just a few basics
What is the difference between services?
First time? Here is everything you need to know before ordering
SawingDiamond concrete sawing
Concrete sawing is precise cutting of concrete walls, floors and ceilings using a diamond blade. The result is a straight, clean line with no surrounding vibration.
When do you need this?
- Opening for a door or window in a concrete wall
- Cutting a channel for plumbing or electrical conduit
- First-stage cut before floor drilling
- Cutting concrete before crushing and removal
Door openingDoor opening in a concrete wall
A door opening includes sawing around the wall, removing the concrete, and installing a supporting steel lintel (kana) that holds the wall above the opening. Without the lintel the wall may crack.
When do you need this?
- Connecting two rooms
- Opening a passage from kitchen to living room
- Adding a door in a protected room (mamad)
- Changing apartment layout during renovation
Window openingWindow opening in a concrete wall
Opening a window in a concrete wall requires precise sawing of all four sides, removing the concrete, and installing an upper support frame. A mamad window requires deeper sawing.
When do you need this?
- Adding a window to a dark room
- Replacing a small window with a larger one
- Opening a window in a mamad (standard requirement)
- Internal window between rooms
Core drillingCore drilling in concrete
Core drilling creates a precise round hole in concrete. Diameter is measured in inches. Mainly used for routing pipes, AC ducts, cables and anchors.
When do you need this?
- Duct for split air-conditioner
- Water, drainage or gas pipe routing
- Concrete anchors for storage cage
- Inter-floor connection (anchor, plumbing)
What affects the price?
Three main factors determine the cost of concrete work
Wall thickness
An interior wall (10-20 cm) costs about half as much as an exterior wall (40-50 cm). The thicker the wall, the longer the cut takes and the more diamond blade it wears - so the higher the price.
Don't know the thickness? Measure the depth of an existing door or window opening in the same wall. A load-bearing concrete wall is usually 15-20 cm or more.
Quantity and dimensions
For sawing - price is per linear meter (length of the cut line). Larger opening = more meters = higher cost. For drilling - price is by number of holes and diameter.
The more openings you do at once, the lower the cost per opening.
Site conditions
Diamond sawing requires three-phase power. No such connection on site? A generator is needed - add ₪1,700 per day.
New apartments and commercial buildings almost always have three-phase power.
How a typical work day looks
From crew arrival to handover - 4 stages
Site survey and coordination
We arrive on site, check wall thickness, power availability and removal route. Final price is confirmed.
Site preparation
We protect floors and furniture, connect equipment. Sawing/drilling is performed with water cooling to control dust.
Work execution
Precise cutting to marked lines. Thick wall - sawn from both sides. Drilling - with core extraction.
Removal and handover
Concrete debris is cleared, site is cleaned. On completion, the opening is ready for finish work (plastering, framing).
