The range accounts for the exact slab thickness, the amount of rebar (reinforced concrete), the number of cut points, and access to the work area. A final, binding price is set once we understand all the on-site variables - usually from a photo or short WhatsApp video.

Trom-Project is a professional assessment service for large, complex projects, priced at ₪800 + VAT. It includes an on-site visit, a review of the structural drawings, and a detailed, accurate quote for all stages of the work. When the project goes ahead, the Trom-Project fee is credited against the total project cost.

Opening a doorway in a concrete wall starts from ₪1,500 for a standard wall about 20 cm thick, and rises with concrete thickness, rebar density, and access difficulty. Window openings, niches, or widening an existing opening follow the same principles. Any opening in a load-bearing wall requires structural-engineer approval in advance.

The main factors are concrete thickness, cut length or hole diameter and depth, concrete type (plain vs. heavily reinforced), working height, access to the work point, and the availability of three-phase power on site. The larger and more concentrated the work at one site, the lower the unit price. Possible add-ons include a generator, crushing and removal, or work at unusual heights.

Yes. The larger and more concentrated the work at one site, the lower the unit price (per linear meter or per hole) drops significantly. For large projects we can arrange a daily-crew route, which reduces the overall cost compared with pricing by single units. Diamond concrete sawing uses suitable blades to cut concrete, reinforced concrete and stone. Water may reduce dust, but dust, noise and finish depend on the site and method.

Yes. We saw internal and external concrete walls, load-bearing and non-load-bearing, in any thickness, using a track-mounted diamond saw for a straight, precise cut and a clean finish. Wall sawing is common for door and window openings, connecting spaces, and widening existing openings. Any cut in a load-bearing or shelter (mamad) wall requires structural-engineer approval in advance.

Yes. We saw concrete floors for utility routes, access openings, plumbing adjustments, and shafts, as well as ceilings and beams within major renovations and building upgrades. Floor sawing is usually more accessible and therefore can be cheaper than wall sawing, while sawing a ceiling or load-bearing beam is sensitive engineering work that requires temporary shoring and sometimes a crane.

With a diamond blade we can saw concrete up to about 60 cm thick in a single-sided cut. For greater thicknesses - massive walls, foundations, or thick beams - we switch to wire sawing, which allows cutting with virtually no thickness limit. The method is chosen based on concrete thickness, rebar amount, and site access.

Standard working height is up to 2.5 m from floor level. Work above that requires special preparation - scaffolding, lift platforms, or dedicated equipment - and is priced according to the logistical complexity and safety requirements. It helps to mention work-at-height up front so we can include it in the quote.

Professional diamond saws and core drills run on three-phase power and also need an available water point to cool the blade. If the site has no three-phase power, we supply an industrial generator at a daily cost of ₪1,690 + VAT. We recommend checking power and water availability in advance so we can price the job accurately.

A crane is needed when the cut concrete sections are too heavy to crush or carry out safely by hand, or when sawing beams and ceilings where the cut element could fall. The crane secures the cut piece and lowers it to the ground in a controlled way. The need for a crane is assessed in advance and priced as part of the project setup.

Core drilling is a precise round hole made with a fixed diamond drilling rig, creating a clean pass-through in concrete walls, floors, or ceilings. It suits routes for plumbing, electricity, air-conditioning, ventilation, flues, and other utilities. The advantage is a smooth, accurate hole at a defined diameter, with no breakage or damage around the drilling point.

Drilling (coring) makes precise round openings for utility routes, while sawing creates straight openings - doors and windows - or cuts and removes whole elements. Coring can reach large depths with maximum accuracy, while sawing suits long, straight cut lines. On a single project we often combine both methods.

Yes. We offer a "3 holes for ₪990" package for standard cores at the same site. For larger quantities the unit price keeps dropping, and it pays to group all drilling points into one crew visit. We will gladly price a package based on the quantity and diameters you need.

Yes. Diamond drilling with a fixed rig works on heavily reinforced concrete as well. Our diamond tooling cuts through the rebar (steel) and delivers a clean, accurate hole without damaging the structure. Especially dense reinforced concrete may extend the working time slightly and therefore affect the price.

Yes. We perform controlled ceiling cores using a fixed rig suited to overhead work, with full control of the machine and water supply and in line with safety requirements. Ceiling drilling is common for plumbing and air-conditioning routes between floors. Here too, any potential impact on a load-bearing element requires consulting an engineer first.

Not necessarily. If you have a required diameter, it helps to state it. If you are unsure, we will guide you with a few basic questions (type of utility, plumbing, AC, etc.) and recommend the right diameter. We drill a wide range of diameters, from narrow cable routes to large vent and pipe cores.

We drill diamond cores in a wide range of diameters - from narrow holes for electrical and communication cables, through medium diameters for air-conditioning and plumbing, up to large core holes for vents, sewage, and substantial-diameter utilities. The right diameter is set by the type of utility and the requirement, and if you are unsure we will recommend the correct one. For especially large diameters we use dedicated equipment and proper anchoring of the rig.

Yes, but it is work that requires stronger equipment and high skill, due to the thick concrete and heavy rebar in mamad walls. Importantly: approval from a structural engineer is mandatory before any change to a mamad wall, to protect the occupants’ safety and the integrity of the structure. We perform the cut exactly according to the approved engineering instructions.

Cutting a load-bearing beam is sensitive engineering work that requires advance planning. It is carried out under the instructions of a structural engineer, with temporary shoring (props) that stabilize the structure before and during the cut. We often add a crane here to prevent a sudden collapse or fall of the cut beam and to lower it in a controlled way.

For any sawing in a load-bearing wall, a mamad wall, a beam, or a ceiling - consulting a structural engineer and obtaining written approval is mandatory. The approval defines where it is permitted to cut and how to support the structure, ensuring the change does not compromise stability. Responsibility for measurements and engineering planning rests with the client and their engineer; we carry out the work according to the approved plan. Wet cutting may reduce some dust, but noise, water and slurry remain possible. In an occupied property, discuss protection, permitted hours and covering furniture and floors before work.

Diamond sawing does not eliminate crack or stability risks. Any opening in a load-bearing element changes load transfer, so follow the engineering plan and approvals required for that structure.

Crushing breaks a cut concrete block into pieces for moving. Check and price on-site bin loading, bin hire and any off-site haulage separately in the quote.

No. The sawing service covers cutting the concrete only. Crushing the concrete, breaking it into chunks, and removing it to a bin are complementary services for an additional charge, which can be included in the quote as needed. We specialize in crushing and removal too, so you can get a complete solution for one project - sawing, crushing, and removal - from one team.

Diamond sawing and drilling are significantly quieter than chipping or hammer demolition, because there is no pounding - the diamond blade cuts the concrete in a continuous rotation. That said, it is electrical machinery and is not completely silent. We coordinate working hours in advance to minimize disturbance, and in residential buildings we recommend notifying the neighbors of the work time. For sensitive jobs we can plan additional noise reduction.

No. All prices shown on the site and in the price list are before VAT, as is customary in the construction industry. The VAT rate is 18% by law and is added to the final amount. The quote you receive will clearly state both the pre-VAT amount and the total amount.
